GEVCT–Harmony Between High Image Quality and Low X-ray Dose

In this paper, we discussed the importance of achieving harmony between image quality and CT X ray dose and what GE LightSpeed VCT was doing in hardware, software and clinical application to reduce patient dose. VCT obtained isotropic high resolution while reducing patient doses through the improvement of X ray detection efficiency to truly realize the goal of balancing high quality images and low X ray dose.
