  • Seismic travel-time tomography is one of maior methods in geophysical inversion, has been widely used in many fields, and has achieved good results. The principle and method of seismic tomography method is briefly introduced in this paper; Based on Matlab software platform, GUI software for seismic travel-time tomography in two-dimensional laterally inhomogeneous media is written by using the GUI tool GUIDE. The velocity structure can be inverted quickly and easily using seismic sounding data and the image of velocity structure can be displayed fast and flexibly in the GUI way. The actual observation data processing results show that the method and the software described herein is effective and feasible.
