  • We calculated the receiver functions of 258 teleseismic events recorded by 12 portable seismic stations during July 2008 to July 2010 in Cangzhou region and imaged the crustal structure by using the common conversion point stacking method. The transverse RF image revealed that the basement depth. There is an abrupt change of the basement depth across the Cangdong Fault, the basement depth is ~2 km in the west of the Fault and changed to 8 km in the east of the fault. The radial RF image revealed that the thickness of the upper crust and Moho depth. The upper crustal thickness and Moho depth are 20~23 km and 34 km in the west of the Cangdong fault. The upper crustal thickness and Moho depth are 25~25 km and 32 km in the east of the Cangdong fault. The crustal structure with the better resolution in this study is quite consistent with the results obtained by the deep seismic sounding profiles and tomography.
