Review of Ultrasonic Scattering Computed Tomography Development

The development process of ultrasound computed tomography(UCT) will be briefly summarized and we pay most attention to X-ray CT technology,medical ultrasound CT technology,ultrasonic non-scattering CT and ultrasound diffraction CT technology.The research development and principles of these theories are reviewed as well as advantages and disadvantages.In the end,we will introduce briefly the ultrasonic scattering CT which is mainly used for industrial ultrasound CT.Introduces the basic concept,the characteristic and the meaning of ultrasonic scattering CT.Scattering ultrasound CT technology not only don't need back-projection reconstruction,but also makes up for the shortage of the linear ultrasonic CT method in some degree because of linear assumption or weak scattering assumption.So it has wide application prospects.
