Abstract
Objective: To explore the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT in acute colon hemorrhage. Methods: 9 patients with clinically suspected acute colon hemorrhage were all examined using multi-slice spiral CT,The patients were performed Dual-phase enhanced scan using multi-modal reorganization such as multiplanar reconstruction, maximum intensity projection image, most cases were confirmed by surgery or clinical follow-up.The others cases were confirmed by DSA.Results: In 9 clinically suspected cases of actue colon hemorrhage, hemorrhagic lesions were confirmed in 7cases(positive detection rate of multi-slice spiral CT in diagnosis of colon was 77.7 %(7/9).Inthese11cases,DSA were performed in4 cases with a result of 3positive and 1negative.positive detection rate of DSA was 75.0 %(3/4).There were 2 cases no signs of hemorrhage were found by multi-slice spiral CT in 9 cases,DSA was also negative.Sites of hemorrhage depicted by multi-slice spiral CT were as follows:ascending colon hemorrhage(n=2),descending colon(n=4),rectum(n=1),while the pathological nature of the hemorrhagic lesions was ulcer in 2 cases, tumor in 3 cases, and inflammation in 2cases.Conclusion: multi-slice spiral CT with dual-phase enhanced scan and construction techniques plays an important role in diagnosis of actue colon hemorrhage.
