LDA Technology Today and Possibilities in the Future

The purpose of this paper is to outline the technology behind the today抯 LDAs(Linear Diode Arrays) and review the development possibilities for the future. The paper also specifies the most important performance characteristics of LDA抯. In the end there is a brief discussion on the various array designs.
