Abstract
Objective To analyze radiological image manifestations of tuberous sclerosis (TS). Materials and Methods : Retrospectic analysis of 30 cases of tuberous sclerosis which were justified by clinical and pathology. Results : 25 patients with isolated sub-ependymal calcification, 2 patients with isolated parenchymal calcification and 1 patient with subependymal giant cell astrocytoma and obstructive hydrocephalus were found by CT; 3 cases with isolated subependymal nodules were found by MRI; 2 patients with bilateral multiple renal angiomyolipomasated were found by B- ultrasound,and one had a hemangiomas of liver simultaneously. Conclusion : subpendymal and/ or cortical calcified and/ or non - calcified tubers and bilateral multiple renal angiomyolipomas are very important diagnostic signs for tuberous sclerosis,when associated with clinic triad,can make a corrective diagnosis, as the key factors for the prognosis of TS.
