Visualization of Combination Corefloods and Oil driving with Aid of NMR Imaging

The combination flooding (polymer+alkali+surfactant and oil driving) is being used in Shengli Oilfield, east of China.Support by Shengli Oil Company, core-floods in different heterogeneous core and homogenous core have been visualized using NMR imaging.The formation and movement of oil bank produced by combine agent are present.NMR imaging show that the sweep efficiency is lower when the permeability ratio is higher.
