Study on the Establishment of Dental Models Based on Three-Dimensional CT and MEM Technology
In order to obtain the edentulous entity model from material ABS, edentulous data of individual samples are obtained by three-dimensional CT scanning, then the data are processed and conversed by means of the Mimics software to get data model of STL format, which can be directly used for the rapid prototyping. Finally, a physical model of the rapid forming MEM system is carried out by melted extrusion modeling. It turns out that the acquisition for 3D data of edentulous individual samples can be accomplished by this method to produce a satisfactory ABS material model for individual dental.
