Review of Accelerated CT Reconstruction Based on FPGA

  • 摘要: 图像重建速度是X-CT成像系统中的一个重要指标。随着X-CT系统的最新发展,对重建物体规模以及重建速度要求的增加,CT重建加速的研究已成为CT研究的热点之一。本文通过软件加速与硬件加速两方面概述CT重建加速的几种主要方法,并结合FPGA的结构特点论述对CT重建加速的适用性以及相对于其他方法的优势。介绍了用FPGA实现重建加速的基本机制以及国内外的研究情况,并对数据结构、数据访问与存储的效率、高级语言等关键问题进行了分析。最后对用FPGA实现CT重建加速的前景进行了展望。

     

    Abstract: The speed of image reconstruction is an important indicator of the CT imaging systems. With the latest developments in CT system and the increasingly demand on the size of reconstruction object and reconstruction speed, the research on CT acceleration reconstruction has been a hot research on CT. In this paper, several major technology’s of acceleration reconstruction are summarized based on software and hardware. The applicability and advantages of FPGA for acceleration reconstruction is discussed due to its characteristic. The theory and development of FPGA acceleration reconstruction are introduced. The key problems such as data structure, data access and storage efficiency, high-level language are analyzed. Finally, the prospect of acceleration reconstruction based on FPGA is viewed.
