扇束工业CT重建算法速度优化

Speed Optimization of Reconstruction Algorithm for Fan Beam Industrial CT

  • 摘要: 扇束工业CT一般采用滤波反投影算法进行CT图像重构,其计算复杂度为O(N3)。如果不进行优化,这种算法的计算速度很难达到工业构件检测的要求。在总结了我们对重建速度所做的优化工作基础上,重点分析了一种基于正、余弦函数性质的优化方法。分析表明,这种优化方法理论上可以使运算速度提高3倍。计算机模拟显示,在实际实现中,这种方法配合其他优化措施,可以使重构速度提高6倍以上。

     

    Abstract: Fan beam industrial CT system usually adopts filter back-projection algorithm to reconstruct CT images. Its computational complexity is O(N3). The running speed of this algorithm, without being optimized, can抰 meet the speed requirement of industrial testing. Following the summary of these optimization steps done by us, an optimizing method based on the features of sine and cosine functions is discussed chiefly. Analysis shows that the reconstruction speed can be improved three times by adopting this method. Computer simulations demonstrate that the running speed in practice can be improved more than six times if this method cooperates with other optimization methods.
