Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the value of CT in diagnosis of ureter stone.
Methods 57 cases with clinic-proved ureter stones examined by CT scanning were analyzed retrospectively.
Results Certain diagnosis was made by CT scanning in 55 cases (96.5%); The stones in lowersegment of ureter in 39 cases (68.4%), in middle and upper segment of ureter in 18 cases (31.6%) were confirmed; The ureter stones were showed as high density on the CTimages; The secondary changes could be showed clearly on the CT images.
Conclusion The CT scanning is better than conventional X-ray and B-ultrasonic examination in diagnosis of the ureter stone, especially the stones in the lower segment of ureter.
