Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical value of 64-MDCT chest angiography protocol for diagnosis of chest pain. Methods: Sixty-five patients with chest pain were performed 64-MDCT chest angiography.Two-dimensional and three-dimensional reconstruction was performed in all patients by means of multiplanar reconstruction(MPR),curved planar reformation(CPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP),and volume rendering(VR).All images were blindly reading by two experienced radiologist.DSA were performed at the same time in 22 cases. Results: The coronary artery branches, pulmonary artery and aortic artery in all patients were showed clearly. The significant coronary artery stenosis were showed in 30 cases,The pulmonary artery embolism in 21 cases,The aortic dissection in 8cases,the aortic aneurysm in 2 cases, respectively,The pneumothorax in one case.Normal findings in 3 cases. Conclusion 64-MDCT chest angiography has high clinical value and is a useful and noninvasive examination in the differential diagnosis of chest pain.
