Abstract:
Myopericytoma (MPC) and gastritis cystica profunda (GCP) are rare clinical conditions with nonspecific clinical manifestations, making preoperative diagnosis difficult. This report describes a case of myopericytoma in the posterior gastric antrum coexisting with gastritis cystica profunda, which was diagnosed histopathologically after endoscopic submucosal dissection. To the best of our knowledge, no previous report has described the coexistence of MPC and GCP. We present this case to enhance the awareness of these rare conditions and provide a literature review.
