  • Objective To study the value of 16-slice Spiral CT Angiography with Tracking Technology of Contrast Medium in the lower extremity. Materials and Methods Fifty-three cases were examined with tracking technology of contrast medium in lower extremity CTA while forty-six cases were not examined with tracking technology. The images between tracking group and contrast group were analyzed retrospectively and comparatively. Result The rate of CTA success and the image quality of tracking group were significantly higher and better than those of contrast group. Conclusion The rate of CTA success and the image quality will enhance if tracking technology of contrast medium is used routinely in lower extremity CTA and tracking technology is also beneficial to the diagnosis of lower extremity diseases.
