CT- and MRI-Based Diagnosis of Primary Fallopian Tube Carcinoma: Clinical Case Analysis

    • Primary fallopian tube carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor of the female reproductive tract that originates in the fallopian tube epithelium and exhibits atypical clinical manifestations. This carcinoma can easily be misdiagnosed as epithelial ovarian cancer or peritoneal cancer. We herein describe the clinical and imaging manifestations, treatment, and prognosis in two cases of primary fallopian tube carcinoma to share insights that may help improve the diagnosis and staging ability of radiologists for primary fallopian tube carcinoma and assist in its clinical treatment.
